Nov. 21, 1918-March 5, 1998
SALEM -- Agnes I. Taylor, 79, Salem, formerly of Kentucky, died at 1:40
a.m. Thursday at her residence.
Born in Liberty, Ky., she was the daughter of John and Katie (Warren)
Norman. She married Charles S. Witt March 2, 1935, and he died in 1944. She
married Adrain Taylor and he died Dec. 1, 1993.
She was a homemaker and member of Salem United Methodist Church in Liberty,
Ky.
Surviving are three daughters: Jewell Cress and Kathern Mattingly, both of
Salem, and Norma White of Campbellsburg; one sister, Nannie B. Davis of
Liberty, Ky.; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two
great-great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren and five
step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and one sister.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home in
Liberty, Ky. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, Liberty,Ky.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Weathers Funeral Home, Salem.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southern Indiana.
