Born Oct. 8, 1941, in Casey County, he was the son of Lois Ross Watson of Liberty and the late Lewis Watson. He was a farmer and a member of Willow Springs United Methodist Church. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Survivors include his wife, Patty Morgan Watson; a daughter, Janet L. Irvin of Crab Orchard; two sisters, Gay Miles and Marilyn K. Watson, both of Liberty; two brothers, L.J. Watson of Liberty and George Watson of Westchester, Ohio; two grand- children; and two stepgrandchildren. Services will be 3 p.m. today at Willow Springs United Methodist Church by David Bowlin. Burial will be in Willow Springs Cemetery. Visitation is prior to the service today at the church. McKinney-Brown Funeral Home handled arrangements.
