Born June 8, 1904, in Casey County, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Laura Goode Price. She was the widow of Rupert Weddle. She was a retired postmistress, a homemaker and a member of Walnut Hill Separate Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Delores Sasser of Louisville; two sons, R.C. Weddle and James G. Weddle, both of Liberty; 14 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. today at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by Clifton Cowan. Burial will be in Casey County Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Ronald Weddle, Chris Weddle, Bryan Weddle, Josh Weddle, Gerald Sasser, Robert Sasser, Dennis Murphy and Scott Murphy. Honorary pallbearers will be Scott Weddle and Ryan Weddle. Visitation is after 8 a.m. today. Memorials may go to Walnut Hills Separate Baptist Church.
