Wilson, 67, of Florence, formerly of Liberty, died Sunday in Florence. Born May 4, 1935, in Russell County, he was the son of the late Ollis and Lestie Emerson Wilson. He was a retired Hurtz Rental employee, an Army veteran and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Russell Springs. Survivors include his wife, Sherlean Davenport Wilson; a son, Martin Wilson of Florence; and a sister, Betty Collins of Columbia. Services will be 4 p.m. Wednesday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by J.D. McDonald. Burial will be in Poplar Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brandon Woods, Matt Willoughby, Nathan Spaw, Rod Beagle, Mark Lykins, Scott Rider, Brad Collins and Farrah Hannah. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
