Zanone, 99, of Franklin, Tenn., formerly of Danville, died Thursday at H.C. Healthcare in Franklin, Tenn. Born Aug. 25, 1902, in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late Wallace and Myrtle Johnson Ellis. She was the widow of Dean Zanone and was preceded in death by a son, Dean Zanone Jr., and a daughter, Iva Jean Shannon. She was a charter member of Lexington Avenue Baptist Church where she was a choir member and former Sunday school teacher. Survivors include a sister, Fannie Guthrie of Danville; a brother, Carl Coleman Ellis of Louisville; three grandchildren; three great- grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Lancaster Cemetery by Dr. Tommy Valentine. There will be no visitation. Memorials may go to Lexington Avenue Baptist Church building fund. Arrangements are being handled by Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home.
