Hopkinsville Kentuckian February 8, 1916
ONE NEGRO FIRED UPON ANOTHER WITH A SHOT GUN

Will Willoughby, colored, was shot and badly wounded at the farm of E. H. 
Reynolds, near Julien, Saturday.  They had returned from town together 
quarreling and when they reached West's home he secured a shotgun and shot 
Willoughby.  Later he came to town and surrendered to Deputy Sheriff Herbert 
Johnson.

Additional Comments:
Jack West was the son of Mary Pink Baker and Paul West.  There are four (4) 
additional articles concerning this murder.
