Services for Irene Addison, 80, St. Charles, formerly of Hopkinsville, 
will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 14, 2001 at Lamb Funeral Home, 
with the Rev. Bencie Rasnake officiating. Burial will be in Ridgetop 
Cemetery, Crofton. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 tonight. 

She died at 9:18 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 11, 2001, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton 
Hospital, Evansville, Ind., following a long illness. 

A native of Christian County, she was born May 28, 1920, the daughter of
the late Joe Thomas and Annie Faye Barnes Fruit. She was a homemaker and
a member of the Shady Lawn Free Will Baptist Church. Her first husband, 
Ewell Cannon, died in 1964. Her second husband, Roy Addison, died in 1972. 

Survivors include two sons, David and George Cannon, both of St. Charles; 
two sisters, Norene Cannon Mathis and Earlene Young, both of Hopkinsville; 
seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
