"MRS. GREER DEAD. Mrs. Eugenia Greer died in Hopkinsville, Friday. Mrs.
Greer, before her marriage was Miss Eugenia Ellis, daughter of Mr. William 
Ellis, of the Bruce country. She was the widow of Mr. J. M. Greer, who died 
about eight years ago.

"For several years she was a resident of Glasgow and moved from Glasgow to 
Bowling Green to educate her sons. She had been in declining health for some 
time and was removed to the State Hospital at Hopkinsville, where she died.

"Mrs. Greer was a conscientious and splendid christiam woman and a most 
faithful and devoted mother.

"She is survived by her two sons: Messrs. Jimmie and Claud Greer. The remains 
were brought back to Glasgow Sunday, and the funeral services were conducted at 
the gragve by Rev. I. D. S. Knight, after which the remains will be interred in 
the Odd Fellow Cemetery."
