Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at First Street Baptist Church, with the Rev. C.E. Timberlake officiating. Burial will follow in Cave Spring Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Adams and Sons Mortuary. A native of Hopkinsville, he was born July 25, 1951. He was the son of the late Emanuel and Marjorie Lucille Pettus Mumford and was a member of First Street Baptist Church, where he was in the choir. While living in Hopkinsville, he also drove a car for the Yellow Cab Co. for several years. Survivors include a son, Ralph Anthony Mumford Jr., Hopkinsville; a daughter, Dedita Mumford, Hopkinsville; six brothers, Bailey Pettus, Benton, Roy Cushenberry, Kansas City, Ricky Cushenberry, Raymond Cushenberry, Michael Cushenberry and June Cushenberry, all of Indianapolis; 10 sisters, Wilma Green, Cincinnati, Ohio, Melony Porter, Paris, Tenn., Rita Gilliam, Domita Jo Pettus, Georgie Bronaugh, Mary Jane Bronaugh and Joanne Henderson, all of Hopkinsville, and Judy Weaver, Niecie Cushenberry and Rita Evans, all of Indianapolis; and a grandchild.
