Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Oatts Cemetery, Christian County. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. A native of Christian County, she was born Feb. 3, 1928. She was the daughter of the late Mack Henry and Mina Florence Hunt Phipps and was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include two brothers, Elwood Phipps, Glenshaw, Penn., and James Phipps, Christian County; and two sisters, Betty Bye, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, and Desma Wagoner, Riverview, Mich.
