Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Gamble Funeral Home, with the Rev. Timothy Hodge officiating. Burial will follow in Cave Spring Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. A native of Hopkinsville, he was born Oct. 9, 1923. He was the son of the late Howard Taylor Sr. and the late Anna Cayce Taylor and was retired from Chestnut and Anderson Grain Co. He was an Air Force veteran and a member of First Street Baptist Church and the Indian Hills Senior Bowling League. He previously was a member of the Oldtimers Club. Survivors include his wife, Rosa Mae Taylor; three sons, Frank Taylor Jr. and Richard McCauley, both of Hopkinsville, and Garland L. Sharpe, Louisville; two daughters, Joyce A. Ray and Frances Taylor, both of Hopkinsville; a brother, William Taylor, Cartersville, Ga.; three sisters, Nancy Belle Smith and Mary Frances Tandy, both of Hopkinsville, and Lena Jones, Clarksville, Tenn.; and 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
