Services were to be at 2 this afternoon at the Flat Lick Cumberland Presbyterian Church, with the Revs. Robert Dixon and Irvin Darnall officiating. Burial was to be in the church cemetery. Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A native of Christian County, he was born April 9, 1919, the son of the late Cecil and Leona Hancock Tinsley. He was a farmer and construction worker and for many years he was an Electrolux dealer. He was a member of the Flat Lick Cumberland Presbyterian Church where he had been an elder for nine years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jerdie Mae Tinsley, in 1994. Survivors include two sons, Jack M. and James B. Tinsley, both of Hopkinsville; a daughter, Janice K. Diuguid, Hopkinsville; four brothers, Dewey and Carloss Tinsley, both of Hopkinsville, Delward Tinsley, the county, Dennis Tinsley, McKinney, Texas; a sister, Daisey Ezell, Hopkinsville; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one stepgrandchild.
