Born Aug. 17, 1962, in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of Juanita Lantham Cooley of Hopkinsville and the late John Dickerson. She was a registered nurse at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville for 18 years. Other survivors include her husband, Jeffrey D. Walton; a son, Jeff Walton of Hopkinsville; a daughter, P.J. Walton of Hopkinsville; five sisters, Deborah J. Salters, Devonna S. Hutson, Anna C. Mann and Ronda L. Cooley, all of Hopkinsville, and Amanda Cooley of Toledo, Ohio; four brothers, Carl L. Dickerson of Georgetown, Johnny D. Dickerson of Harrodsburg, Charles A. Dickerson of Paris and Randall G. Cooley Jr. of San Antonio, Texas; and two grandchildren. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cobb Hill Cemetery.
