Eckles, Hopkinsville, Kentucky Date Of Burial: January 23, 1917 Place Of Burial: Hopkinsville, Kentucky Date Recorded: January 23, 1917 Source Of Record: Commonwealth of Kentucky, Certificate of Death Certificate No.: Vol. 002, Certificate 00593, Death Vol. 1917 1. Actual age: 79 years, 4 months, 19 days 2. Doctors statement: "I hereby certify, that I attended deceased from Jan. 10, 1917 to Jan. 22, 1917, that I last saw him alive on 22 Jan. 1917, and that death occurred on the date stated above at 12 m." Additional Comments: 1. This certificate is plagued with smudges and unclear writing. 2. Occupation: This is partially unreadable. It clearly states "Tobacco", but the rest of the entry is uncertain. Perhaps it reads "Tobacconist". 3. Informant: It clearly states "A. H. Eckles". However, there is some writing before that entry. Perhaps it says "Mrs." or something similar. It looks like "Wes". Again, a case of poor writing. 4. Time of death: It clearly states "12 m." The "a." or "p." portion of the entry is missing. So, it's not possible to know if it was "a.m." or "p.m.". 5. Name of doctor: Again, partially unreadable due to poor hand-writing.
