Know all men by these presents, that we James Young and
Thomas Dunn are held and firmly bound unto the Commonwealth
of Kentucky, in the penal sum of fifty pounds current money
of said state, to the payment of which well and truly to be
made, we bind ourselves, our heirs, &c. jointly & severally,
firmly by these presents.
dated and sealed this 15th day of August 1817

The condition of the above obligation is such, that whereas,
there is shortly a marriage to take place between the above
bound James Young -- and Dicy Dunn. Now, if it shall always
hereafter appear, that there is no legal obstruction to said
marriage, then the above obligation to be void, else remain
in full force and virtue of law.

License obtained upon the oath of Thomas Dunn that the
within named Dicy Dunn has no father in this state, that she
had not livd with her father since 4 years of age, that the
sd Thomas Dunn is her sd Dicys only guardian. and he gave
his consent to the obtaining of License this 15 Augst 1817
