This is some info that I received from Father Saulino (St. Joseph's Church) Winchester, KY. He was kind enough to look up my Curry and Ervin/Irvine lines in the earliest records that he has for the Church. Unfortunately, the record books that he has only date back to the turn of the century. The information comes from different portions of the records(which are in three different books): baptisms, marriages, First Communions, Confirmations and deaths. The dates are not in order. 1902 Feb. 23, the baptismal record of a Edward Swift has as a sponsor a C.C. Curry. 1907 Aug. 7: baptism of Lawrence(?) Confirmed in 1893, Josephine Lucy Irvine Confirmed on June 14, 1896 Elizabeth Mary Irvin and Anne Eliz. Maggie Irvin. Confirmed on June 15, 1900, Estella Eliz. Curry, Mary Agnes Curry, Elias Francis Curry. Confirmed on October 19, 1905, Frances Agnes Curry, Charles Ervine, Edward Ervine, Mary Ervine (the last three were listed as adults). First Comm. on June 28, 1907, Margaret Curry. Confirmed on May 26, 1909, Margaret Catherine Curry, Mary Josephine Ervine, Charles John Ervine. Edward James Ervine, Josephine Mary Curry (last three listed as adults) First Comm. on June 19, 1910, Lucy Curry. Confirmed on May 21, 1911, Lucy Curry Marriage, May 5, 1898 John Booth (age 38) & Ludonicae (? [no age given] Miss Amanda Curry, 67, died suddenly, Dem. 13, 1914. Buried 2p.m. Dec 14, internment in family Cem. Adam Curry, age 76, died June 20, 1917 prepared with last Sacraments, died of an injury to blood vessel. A man of exceptional religious fervor, loved and esteemed by all, one of the most generous benefactors of the parish, a man of the highest Christian principles, a great loss to the parish. His hospitality to the priests of the parish is one of ? most pleasant recollections of Winchester. He was buried in the Family lot, blessed by Pastor. Services conducted at the Curry home at Indian H\Fields. He was a member of the Holy Name Society. Mary Jane Ervin, died May 29, 1926, wife Hezekiah Ervin, age 80, buried May 31, 1926. Services at St. Joseph's, burial in the family lot on residence. Hezekiah Ervin, age 94 (baptized on death bed by daughter Helen Ervin) died Oct. 17, 1928, of acute heart trouble. Buried on Oct. 19 at Ervin private cemetery on the Clay City Pike. Isabelle Turpin nee Ervine, died Feb. 23, 1927, age 49, wife of John; two sons, Joseph (15) and john Herbert (12), and two daughters [no names] Lucy Booth nee Curry, died April 8,1930, age 70, wife of John, no children, of dropsy and pneumonia. Buried April 10, grave in North Middletown Cem. John C. Booth died Dec 30, 1947 of old age, age 87. buried Jan.2, 1948 at Middletown Cem. in Bourbon Co. Hannah M. Curry, died Jan. 29,1933, buried Jan 31 at Curry Farm Ceme.: paralized May 14, 1929. Emma Curry, died May 19, 1933, of heart failure; 7 living children (born June 8, 1859 in Lexington), burial May 22 at the Curry Farm. Elias Ervine, died Nov. 30,1933, of cancer (born Dec. 1, 1870), a bachelor, buried in Ervine Cemetery Helen Ervine, died Jan 26, 1938, age 62, of heart trouble. buried in the Ervine Cem.
