Harts Branch Cemetery 
Beech Creek 

Transcribed May 2000 by Karen and Ashton Perry, Daughter and Grand-daughter 
of Bailey and Donna Perry. 

This cemetery is located at the junction of Cotton Bend and Coal Hollow. It 
is visible from the main road but must be accessed through private land. Go 
3/10 miles past the junction of Coal Hollow. Turn into drive of first brick 
home on the left. At the rear of the drive, exit onto gravel road, bearing 
to the left fork. 

This is an old cemetery with several prominent families included the Jones 
and Turners. Many of the deceased are veterans. There are many graves with 
simple stones. Some are unmarked and some are illegible.
