One of the entries was the following: #204 in B book 25 Oct 1833 Leander Miller and Barton Potter, Merchants of Manchester, Clay co. and Milly Henson (William Dunsel and Milley his wife) Transaction: Milly Henson owed debts to Miller and Potter, Merchants, before her marriage, being one note for $3. and an account for $31.62 ½. Now, to secure those Merchants, Milly and her husband mortgage two cows and calves, two horses (one bay mare and one colt), one heifer, and two beds and furniture.
