Commonwealth of Kentucky,                     April 1st 1912
Clay County Court,

Ordered that Wm. Gilbert (son W. C.) be, and he is hereby appointed surveyor
of the County Road from the mouth of Fish Trap Branch to the upper end of
the Slaughter Field in place of Blevins Hensley who is hereby released as
overseer afs'd and that he be allowed the following hands, viz:  All the
hands the former overseer had to keep said road in repair as the law directs
