Ball Agreement made this 20th of December 1883 between H.B. Clark of the first part and G.W. Ball of the second part, witnesseth that said Clark hath sold to said Ball the tract of land laid off to him out of the lands of his grandfather William Clark dec'd and as son of E.D. Clark, dec'd same lying on Sexton's Creek in Clay Co. KY and reference is here made to repent? of John Farmer, Commissioner & Surveyor in the division of said tract of land among the heirs of William Clark for bounding for two hundred dollars and for the further amount of ten dollars, amount Granville Bishop paid for said land at sheriff sale for tac on same and the amount of tax said Bishop has paid on same since his purchase of said amounts - amount ten dollars aforesaid, and Clark agrees to make a deed of conveyance to said Ball with covenants of general warrantees when the purchase money is paid.
