Murray and his wife of the County of Clay & State of KY of the first part & Nancy V. Murray, widow of A.A. Murray, and Elizabeth, Martha, Mary, Evaline, Susanna, Sarah Stewart late Sarah Murray, & Tabitha Ponder late Tabitha Murray all being the heirs of Alfred A. Murray Dec'd, residents of the county and state aforesaid of the second part. Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of $200.00 cash in hand paid the parties of the first part by the said A.A. Murray Dec'd, in his lifetime, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, the parties of the first part hath this day sold & conveyed & by these presents doth sell, alien & convey unto the parties of the second part, all of a certain tract or parcel of land situated in County and State afs'd & on the waters of Little Goose Creek and bounded as follows: -Beg. at a bunch of willows in the creek opposite the cross fence running from the graveyard to the creek, thence up said creek to Brigman's line , thence with the same line south to Tilston's line on the top of the ridge, thence down said ridge in the highest part of said ridge down to the graves, thence with the cross fence to the beginning, the same being a part of the Robert Noe survey...To have and to hold unto the parties of the second part their heirs and assigns forever with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging free from the claims of all and every person whomsoever - and the parties of the first part doth forever warrant and defend title to the same against the claims of all persons. Price, Clerk of County Court, Clay, KY do certify that foregoing deed from W.J. Murray & wife to A.A. Murray's heirs together with the fifty cents U.S. Revenue Stamp there to be attached, was this day presented to me in my office and the same was in due form of law acknowledged by said W.J. Murray & wife to be their act and deed for the purpose thereunto mentioned and ordered to record - whereupon said deed together with the foregoing certificate hath been duly recorded in my office.
