Formerly in Cumberland Co, now in Clinton Co. Minuktes for 1844.

Jan - Charles M D WALKER came forward saying he was a member
       of a Baptist Church in Alabama, excluded over 18 years ago
       & wished to obtain fellowship; clerk to write to old church first.

Feb - Bro COOPER & E L GARRETT preached. Recvd by experience
        Barbery WALKER.

Mar - Trustee discussion.
Apr - Bro TUGGLE & COOPER preached. Discussed trustees.
May - no minutes found

Jun - Benjamin CAMPBELL, a trustee, has moved from the country.
        Church appoints John CROUCH, Joseph DENTON & Isaac
        WRIGHT along with prsent trustees Robert CROSS &
        William WOOD. Lois PREVE, Rachel KOGER and Aggie
        KOGER recvd by letter and also Patsey CROCKETT.

Jul - James ABSTON & John GARRETT preached. Learned of the
       death of "Old Sister CHAPMAN" since last association.

Aug - Isaac DENTON, Isaac WRIGHT & Joseph DENTON named
        delegates to the association.

Sep - Rainy, none came.

Oct - Wm WOOD to write Martha HIGHSON who thinks she has
        lost her letter of dismission and wants to obtain membership
        in a church by her. Isaac WRIGHT & Jesse MYERS appt to
        visit Salley HOPKINS to see why she is not attending.

Nov - John GARRETT preached. Church to bear with Salley
        HOPKINS.

Dec - Bro COOPER preached. Wm THRASHER came forward &
        told the church that he got into an affray on a week ago Sat
        and was wrong. Church agrees to bear with him. Recvd by
        experience Lois NOLAND.
