Minutes, year 1824

Jan - Sally GRIMSLEY received by letter.
Feb - Olley HULL excluded. James PARKER & wife granted letter
       of dismission.
Mar - Charge against Rosanna HUDLESTON; Jessie SMITH & Wm
        THRASHER to cite her to next meeting. James PARKER
        allowed to exercise his preaching gift, to be granted a 
        certificate from the church. Betsey, Polley and Rowland
        JONES received by letter.
Apr - Rosanna HUDDLESTON appeared, charges dropped. Letter
        of dismission granted Catey APPLEBY and Lucy KENNEDY.
May - Samuel HOPKINS Jr charged with stoning his neighbor's
         house; cited to next meeting. Dismissed by letter for the
         new church: Rebeckah STOCKTON, James SMITH & wife
         - they returned their letters and came back to this church.
         Caty FLOWERS received by letter.
Jun - Samuel HOPKINS case taken up, retained.
Jul - Henry HULL granted letter of dismission.Members of the 
       church ordained: Isaac CROUCH May 1821; Jonathan
       SMITH Sept 1821; John CROUCH Sept 1821 and Wm CROUCH
       June 1824. 
Aug - Charge against Lewes [sic] DUVALL in TN to recover money
         on a contract made in KY while he was on a traveling route
         returning to KY, his place of residence. Samuel SCOTT thus
         excluded for justifying his conduct. Peter CROSS to inform
         Thomson CROSS/GROSS there is a charge against him
         for drinking to excess on election day - to come to next
         meeting. Received by letter Anna DOWEL and John &
         Savanah KENNEDY.
Sept. Above case laid over. John C SMITH to receive a written
         license to preach. James C CROUCH granted letter of
         dismission. Lett, a woman of colour received by experience.
Oct - Case dropped againssnt Thompson GROSS. Letter of dismission
         granted Roland JONES, Lucey KENNEDY and Feather
         WOOLSEY. Nancy CARTER received by letter.
Nov - nothing
Dec - John T WOOD recvd by letter and Susannah MOBLE received
        by experience.
