McClusky and their guardian Benjamin Spear praying among other things for a deed of conveyance to a tract of land named in a little bond executed by John McClusky and Russell McClusky to her and whereas such proceedings were had at this court that at the September term 1875 of said court a judgment was rendered by the court adjudging that the conveyance be made and the defendants not making the same, I was at said term appointed by the court to make a deed of conveyance for said land to said Willie Ann Thurman. Now in consideration of the _________. I, J.A. Brants, Commissioner of said court hereby convey unto said Willie Ann Thurman said land which lies on the waters of Ill Will Creek in Clinton County Kentucky and is bounded as follows on the east by the land of W. R. King, on the south by the lands of W. T. Sidwell, on the west by the lands of Charletta Craft and on the north by the lands of Adam Guthrie and William Pierce. The Ill Will Creek runs on the south side of said lands except a small portion that crosses the creek and the line on the west side runs part of the distance with Fanny's Creek. This is the same land sold by Joseph Carter to Wm Craft and by him to John McClusky and containing one hundred acres more or less. To have and to hold unto said Willie Ann Thurman, her heirs and assignee from all claims forever and only half of the above named defendants so far as I am authorized by law to warrant the title to said land against all claims whatever. In ______ whereof I have to set my hand this 7th day of September 1875. Signed J.A. Brants I, J.C. Hind, Deputy Clerk of the Clinton County Court do certify that the ____ from J.A. Brants __________ to Willie Ann Thurman was acknowledged by this court on the 7th day of September 1875. To be his act and deed for the purpose therein mentioned and the same being ordered to second therefore I have duly seconded the same together with this certificate in my office. Given under my hand as clerk aforesaid this 9th day of August 1878. J.M. Bristow, Clerk By J.C. Hunt DC
