Hodge, aged 78, died at his home in San Antonio, Texas, on Sunday, June 28. The body arrived here Wednesday on the two o'clock train and was immediately taken to Mapleview Cemetery, and after a short funeral service, conducted by Rev. R.H. Wade, pastor of the Methodist Church, was interred. Mr. Hodge was born in Crittenden County and lived here until 25 years ago. He moved to Princeton, Ky., and from there to Louisville, and later to San Antonio, Texas, where he has lived until his death. He has been engaged in the insurance business since he was a young man. He married Miss Davey Northern, of Livingston County, who died about 6 years ago. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. M.H. Erskine, of San Antonio, and Mrs. Alf Folsom, of Dallas, one son, Robert, of San Antonio, two sisters, Mrs. H.C. Moore of this city, Mrs. Sallie H. Jackson, of Princeton, and one brother, Twinkle Hodge, of Princeton and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Hodge was a member of one of the oldest and most highly respected families in the county.
