OBIT: Kirkpatrick, 1930 - Crittenden Co, KY -------------------------------------------- From: Brenda Jerome Date: Sat, 22 Feb 1997 -------------------------------------------- Crittenden Press 26 Sep 1930 Service is Held for Mrs. Murial Freeman [sic] A brief service for Mrs. Murial Freeman Kirkpatrick who died August 29, 1930 in a Los Angeles hospital, was held Monday afternoon in Mapleview Cemetery in this place with the Rev. J.M. Dameron conducting the service. The body of Mrs. Kirkpatrick was cremated in Los Angeles, the ashes being brought to Marion by her mother, Mrs. James Freeman, who was with Mrs. Kirkpatrick at the time of her death. On Monday afternoon at the conclusion of the service, the urn containing the ashes of Mrs. Kirkpatrick was placed on a slab in the Freemon [sic] lot in Mapleview Cemetery. Mrs. Quirkpatrick [sic] died after a lingering illness, in her forty-fourth year. Born in Marion, a daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. James Freeman, Mrs. Kirkpatrick lived here until 25 years ago, when she went to the West to make her home. Besides her mother and father of Marion, Mrs. Kirkpatrick is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Martha Craig of San Francisco, and two grandchildren.
