Beginning on the river at the lower corner of an entry originally made in the name of Thomas F. Lowry of two hundred acres running thence down the said river so low as to include the next branch which empties into the river below on the same side, thence out from the river so far as to include the quantity according to law. Likewise I did bargain and sell unto the said John Turney a certain tract of land granted to under the authority aforesaid lying and being in the county aforesaid on the aforesaid Clover Creek adjoining the upper line of the aforesaid entry of 200 acres in the name of Thomas F. Loury and running up the creek for quantity; which said rights I did agree to relinquish to the said Turney. In consideration of the above statement I do by these presents constitute and appoint my friend Ambrose Doss my attorney and I do hereby authorize him the Doss to go before the said court of Cumberland County and then and there in my name relinquish all right title, claim or demand which I or my heirs have heretofore or may hereafter have in and to the aforesaid two tracts of land to the said John Turney his heirs or assign in as full and ample manner as if I myself were present and further I do hereby authorize my said attorney to do such other acts as shall be necessary to serve the right and title in and to the aforesaid land unto the aforesaid John Turney his heirs and assigns. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 21st day of June 1805.
