Tharpy and Kindness and from valueth laborious past Services rendered for the last the years towards my wife while on her Sick bed during that time by my Negro woman LIZZA I do hereby Manumet and Set free from Slavery the Said LIZZA and her only child HENRY from this date Said LIZZA was born March 15th 1830 and HENRY on the 23rd March 1848 the woman LIZZA is of a dark Coper Colour and five feet one & one half inches high the boy HENRY is a dark Mulatto.
