Entered July 4, 1806. Lying in the Salt Lick Creek bottom, Beginning at a sycamore, hackberry and beech on the south bank of the Cumberland River, just below the mouth of Rock Creek, running thence down the river side S 77 degrees W 207 poles to two hackberries on the river bank; thence S 13 degrees E 155 poles to two small sugar trees, thence N 77 degrees E 207 poles to two small beeches and hickory; thence N 13 degrees W 155 poles to the beginning.
