"Surveyed for Robert Mann 150 acres of land in Cumberland County on
Kentucky Land Warrant No. 168 dated 5 September 1815. Lying of the South
side of the Cumberland River, begins on a corner of Newberry Mann's 60 acre
survey on the river bank, down the river S 55 degrees W 136 poles to a
maple on William Jackman's line on the bank of Rock Lick Creek, thence with
said line S 130 degrees E 32 poles to a corner of Elijah Melson's survey,
thence with his line due East (passing his corner at 119 poles) 210 poles
to the North bank of a branch,…thence N 60 degrees E 66 poles to the North
side of a hill, thence N 50 degrees E 66 poles to a cliff on the river,…"
