Delmer L. Claywell, 68, of Indianapolis, formerly of Cumberland County,
passed away June 24, 2003 in Indianapolis.  He was the son of the late
Paul and Rosie Garrett Claywell.  Delmer retired from American Mechanical
Company after 40 years of service.  He was a member of Grace Pointe Church 
of the Nazarene, and was chairman of the board of directors.

Survivors include his wife, Norma Tackett Claywell, a son, Kevin Claywell 
of Indianapolis, daughters, Debbie Short and Kathy Meyer of Indianapolis, 
grandchildren, Meghan Claywell, Morgan Meyer, Rachel Meyer and Ryan 
Meyer, brothers, Russell and Douglas of Burkesville, Roy of Tampa, Florida,
David of Indianapolis, Clifton of Tompkinsville, sisters, Grace Turner of
Greenwood, Indiana, Univay Scott of Middletown, Indiana, Robbie Curtis of
Jeffersonville, Indiana, Donnie Winchester of Park City and Joyce Capps of 
Glasgow.

Services were held June 27 at Family Funeral Care.
