Church. U S Army veteran of WW II and received the Purple Heart Medal.
Survivors:
Two sisters: Lillian Garmon of Glasgow and Blanche Powell of Conway
Six nieces: Margaret Bowles and husband Johnny of Cave City, Janet Slayton of 
Harrodsburg KY, Linda Williams, Brenda Powell and Nena Powell, all of Conway, 
Rebecca Brandonburg of Berea KY
Two nephews: John Smith and wife Ann of Horse Cave KY and Randy Powell of 
Conway
Several great-nieces and nephews
Preceded in death also by sister: Vernell Smith
Services: Saturday, 5 Nov 2005, 11 am, A F Crow and Son Funeral Home, burial 
with military honors at Marrowbone Cemetery in Cumberland Co.
