Reprinted by McDowell Publications, Utica, KY, 1980. p. 702. IVERSON B. RICHARDSON, born on the farm where he now lives, Oct. 31, 1840, is a son of William W. Richardson, a native of Maryland, who came with his parents to Shelby County, Ky., when a child. He was married to Sarah M. Ware. In the fall of 1838 he came to Daviess County, and settled in Masonville Precinct. He and wife had seven children, four sons and three daughters. Iverson B. was the second son and third child, and was but fourteen when his father died. He remained on the farm with his mother until her death, when he purchased the old homestead of the heirs, and still resides on this farm, where he has eighty-nine acres, about half under cultivation.
