M. Osborn and Nannie Osborn his wife of the first part and Michael Weikel of the second part. Witnesseth that the said party of the first part in consideration of three thousand three hundred and fifteen ($3315.00) dollars paid and to be paid as follows: Twelve hundred & sixty ($1260.00) dollars cash in hand paid, one note for four hundred & forty ($440.00) dollars due Jany 1st 1893 and four notes for four hundred & three & 75/100 ($403.75) each due respectively on Jany 1st 1894, Jany 1st 1895 and Jany 1st 1897. All of said notes to bear in interest from Jany 1st 1893, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, do hereby sell, grant and convey to the party of the second part his heirs and assigns the following described property vis: A tract of land lying about one mile west of Owensboro on the Henderson Road and bounded as follows: on the north by the lands of Reimbold, on the east by G. D. McLean, on the south by the Henderson Road, on the west by the land of Eli Cox and containing 59 acres, but out of this boundary is to be excepted 20 acres heretofore sold on the 22nd day of September 1891 by James Y. Haden the former owner of this land to U. & C. L. Medley and recorded in deed book 54. The land herein conveyed is the same property conveyed to the party of the first part by James U. Hayden on the 22nd day of Sept 1891, and recorded in deed book 54 page 418, Daviess County Clerk Office. A lien is retained on the land herein pledged to secure the unpaid purchase money. To have and to hold the same with all the appurtenances thereon to the second party his heirs and assigns forever with covenant of general warranty, for testimony whereof witness our signatures this 26th day of March 1892.
