She married first Joseph Walter Head, who died in 1901. She married Charles Carroll Mattingly 2 May 1905. She was survived by one child from her first marriage, Joseph Owen Head, and five children from her second marriage, Nannie Mae, Katherine "Kate", Joseph E.
