There are no minutes thru April 1838.

May - Recvd letter from Holley Spring Church asking for services
         of Jessey MOON to help in ordination of WIlliam SCAGGS.
         Letter of dismission granted Salsberry JONES & wife
         Sevany A JONES.

June - Smiths Grove Baptist Church sent request for helps in
         ordination of a minister and deacon - Jessey MOON to go.
         Recvd David BRATTEN by experience.

July - Trustees to decide on purchase of a stove for the church.

Aug - James STROWD to see William WOMAC to see why
         he hadn't been baptised. Ritchard RAY to see WIlliam
         CLAYTON for same.

Sept - Both cases continued.

Oct - William WOMAC excluded; CLAYTON's case continued.
         Austin CLAYTON to be sent for to see why he isn't
         attending.

Nov - Wm CLAYTON's case discussed, continued. He to be
         visited again. Austin CLAYTON's case dismissed.

Dec - Wm CLAYTON's case continued.
