They also destroyed a number of barrels, a quantity of mash and quite a lot of other material found with the outfit. This paraphernalia has been in recent use and the ashes and embers were still in the furnace where it had been in operation. The owners and operators of the still, however, were not apprehended. The clue which led to the capture was furnished by Houchin, who also accompanied the sheriff after the outfit.
