Warranty Deed,-----Big Sandy News Steam Print, Louisa, KY.

	This deed of conveyance made and entered into this 19 day of December, 1902 
between Harvey Lester and his wife, Mary Lester parties of the first part and John M. 
Ison party of the second part, Witnesseth: that said parties of the first part, for and in 
consideration of the sum of Eight Hundred and fifty Dollars, in hand paid Six Hundred 
and Ten Dollars, the remainder Two Hundred and forty Dollars secured to be paid do 
hereby sell and convey to the party of the second part, their heirs and assigns the 
following described property, to-wit: 
	One tract of land situated in Elliott County KY and near the forks of Newcomb 
creek and bounded as follows, Beginning on a sugar tree on the condishanal link between 
Harvey Lester and John M. Ison thence down the creek, with creek below the forks of 
Newcomb to Tom Masons lot thence up the hill to the upper side of the lot thence with 
the lot fence to G.W.Bailey line thence with G. W. Bailey line to the top of the ridge 
thence with the ridge to some pines near some rocks a condishnol corner of Isom Ison 
Ahargalis Ison thence a straight line to the upper forks of the branch thence down said 
branch to a walnut stump just above the Tom Peters house thence with the fence to the 
creek to a buckeye stump thence crossing the creek with cross fence to the top of the hill 
thence with the ridge to John M. Ison line thence with said Ison line to the beginning 
containing one hundred and seventy five acres be the same more or less.

To have and to hold the same together with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging, 
unto the said party of the second part, their heirs and assigns forever.  And the said 
parties of the first part hereby covenants with the said party of the second part, that they 
will warrant the title to the property hereby conveyed unto the said party of the second 
part and their heirs and assigns forever.
	A lien is retained upon the property hereby conveyed as security for the payment 
of the said unpaid purchase money.

purpose of and does hereby convey and release all her right to dower and homestead

State of Kentucky, Elliott Co.(Lawrence Co has been marked out) } Clerk’s Certificate of 
Acknowledgment.
	I, Add Skeens, Clerk of the County Court for the County of Lawrence and State 
aforesaid certify that the forgoing Deed of Conveyance from Harvey Lester and Mary 
Lester, his wife of Lawrence Co to John M. Ison of Elliott Co was on the 19 day of 
December 1902 produced to me in said county and acknowledged before my by them 
parties grant thereto to be their act and deed.

	I, W. W. Green, Jr. Cerk of the County Court, for the county aforesaid do certify 
that the foregoing Deed was on the 23 day fo July 1903 lodged in my office for record

	Memoranda.

Twelve months after date I bring to pay to order of Harvey Lester $93.00 (ninety 
three dollars) it being per value regard of his in land this Dec 26, 1902.  John M. Ison
December 26, 1902 - Assigning the benefit of this written note to D. D. Skaggs.

March the 7, 1903, received of John M. Ison one hundred and twenty eight dollars 
and forty ct. for land – Harvey Lester. 
 Balance due H. Lester on land eighteen dollars and sixty ct.  John M. Ison
