Mary Rose Simpson Stone, 66, of 791 Robinson St., born May 21, 1927 in Bath, 
England, dau of Lionel and Bessie Mae White Simpson, died “Sunday afternoon” in 
Marion, OH.  Coming from Alabama, she had resided in Marion for 46 years.  Survived: 
husband, Elmo Stone whom she married on Feb 26, 1944 in Bath, ENG, sons, Lester 
Stone, Marlin Stone, Charles Stone and Glenn Stone, daus, Linda O’Brien and Carol 
Edwards, brothers, Nigel and Ron Simpson, sisters, Maureen Taylor and Dian Baxter, 16 
gc, 8 g-gc.  One brother is deceased.  Burial: “Wednesday” in the Agosta Cemetery.

Lizzie Phillips Brickey, 90, of Isonville, Elliott Co, KY, dau of the late William Harrison 
Phillips and Effie Ison Phillips Whitley, died Aug 12,1993 in Morehead, Rowan Co, KY.  
Survived: husband, Clarence Verner Brickey, sons, William V. Brickey and John W. 
Brickey, dau, Fern Fraley, brothers, Willie Phillips and Dockie Phillips, sisters, Ivory 
Ferguson and Inez Rhodes.  Burial: Aug 15, 1993 in the Elliott County Memory Gardens, 
Sandy Hook, Elliott Co, KY.  Pallbearers: Curtis Ferguson, Stephen Howard, Darrell 
O’Hara, Dwight Whitley, Gary Brickey and Bill Sparks.

Dixie Holbrook Cramer, 58, of Chicago, IL, born in Jochin, WV, dau of Faye Whitt 
Holbrook and the late Burl Holbrook, died Aug 16, 1993 in Chicago.  Survived: son, 
Russell Cramer, daus, Peggy Sue Sagat and Dixie Lee Sagat, brothers, Lee Roy and Bill 
Holbrook, sister, Shirley Gardner, granddau, Brittnay Sagat.  Burial: Aug 20, 1993 in the 
Carlisle Cemetery, Carlisle, KY.

Mr. Michael Duane “Mouse” Winkle, 18, of Morehead, Rowan Co, KY, born Jan 25, 
1975 in Norwalk, CA, son of Kenneth and Judith Tilmond Winkle, died Aug 20, 1993 in 
Morehead, KY.  Survived: brother, Curtis Winkle, sister, Laura Reynolds, maternal 
grandparents, William and Donna Miller Lawson, paternal grandfather, Edwin Winkle, 
nieces, Brittany Winkle and Krystal Reynolds.  Burial: Aug 23, 1993 in the Winkle 
Family Cemetery, Elliott Co, KY.  Pallbearers: Curtis Winkle, Danny Clark, Roger 
Brown, Scotty Brown, David Fannin, Robert Wright, Adam Howard and Michael David 
Winkle.
