Bertha Elizabeth Smith Skaggs, 90, of Stark, Elliott Co, Ky, born Mar 29, 1903 in Elliott 
Co, dau of the late Morris Richard and Mary Ellen Rabbe Smith, died Dec 7, 1993 in 
Morehead, Rowan Co, KY.  Preceded: husband, Ora Granvil Skaggs in 1981, brothers, 
Fred Smith, Will Smith, Hebert Smith, Don Smith and Charles Smith, sister, Lillian 
Bryant, grandson, Jerry Lee Sparks.  Survived: son, Harlan Skaggs, daus, Mary Jo 
Stafford, Doris Hannah and Ellen Mabry, brothers, Eaph Smith, Richard Smith and 
Walter Smith, sister, Electa Cumpton, 14 gc, 10 g-gc, 2 g-g-gc.  Burial: Dec 10, 1993 in 
the Skaggs Cemetery.

Julia Conley Hardin, 85, of Clearfield, Rowan Co, KY, born July 8, 1908 in Elliott Co, 
KY, dau of the late Burgey and Fannie Isom Conley, died Dec 4, 1993 in Morehead, 
Rowan Co, KY.  Survived: husband, Dewey Hardin, brother, Ora Conley, several nieces 
and nephews.  Funeral services: Dec 6, 1993, no burial info.

Grace B. Flannery Roberts, 88, of Morehead, Rowan Co, KY, born Dec 10, 1904 in 
Elliott Co, KY, dau of the late James O. and Sarah Murray Flannery, died Dec 4, 1993 in 
Morehead.  Preceded: husband, Chester Roberts in 1960.  Survived: brother, Clarence 
Flannery, sister, Lola Flannery.  Funeral services; Dec 7, 1993, on burial info.

Rev. Truman Fannin, 79, of Sandy Hook, Elliott Co, KY, born Aug 21, 1914 in Elliott 
Co, KY, son of the late Bud and Laura Thornsberry Fannin, died Dec 13, 1993 in 
Lexington, Fayette Co, KY.  Preceded: son, Delbert Fannin, brothers, Leo Fannin, 
Richard Fannin, Audie Fannin and Oscar Fannin, sisters, Ethel, Mima, Florence and 
Addie.  Survived: wife, Nannie Carter Fannin, sons, Donnie Fannin, Dallas Fannin and 
Dale Fannin, brothers, Ike Fannin and Verdie Fannin, 2 gc, 2 step-gc, 1 step-g-gc.  
Burial: Dec 16, 1993 in the Fannin Cemetery.
