Mae Pennington Gallion and the late Arthur Gallion, died Feb 7, 2000 at his home.  Preceded:
wife, Madgle Ison Galion in 1995, half-brother, Estill Frazier and half-sister, Hazel Newland.

Stella Boggs Gillum Stevens, 88, of Sandy Hook, Elliott Co, KY, born Oct 2, 1911 at
Newcombe, Elliott Co, dau of the late Lafe and Katie Skaggs Boggs, died Feb 6, 2000 in
Ashland, Boyd Co, KY.  Preceded: husbands, Edward L. Gillum in 1941 and Ola Stevens in
1993, dau, Orella Gillum, brother, Lafe Boggs, Jr., sisters, Goldie Stevens, Lillian Thornberry
and Martha Oney, grandchildren, Daniel Roe, Sandra Roe, Susan Roe and Kevin Markwell. 
Survived: daus, Juanita Roe, Pauline Thompson, Myrtle Sparks, Diana Markwell and Marie

KY.  Survived: husband, Gary Lee Whitt, son, Jason Lee Whitt, dau, Cary Schwab, brothers,
Charles McKenzie, Kenneth McKenzie, Tim Ferguson, Gene Bush, Osa Bush Jr. and Mark Bush,
step-father, Osa Bush.  Burial: Feb 7, 2000 in the Whitt Cemetery, Lytten, KY.  Pallbearers: Tom

Mary Levone ôBonnieö Creech Blevins Wilson, 62, of Olive Hill, Carter Co, KY, born Mar 9,
1937 in Elliott Co, KY, dau of the late Harrison and Amy Wagoner Creech, died Feb 4, 2000 at
her home.  Survived: husband, Elder William M. Wilson, son, Bobby Allen Blevins, step-daus,
Rita Fay Wilson, Jennifer Lyn Wilson, Wanda Apostol, Jewell Rose and Dottie Vineyard,
brothers, Glen Creech and Jack Creech, sisters, Oliva Cline,  JoAnn Gregory, Lucille Oakley and
Carolyn Smith, several gc, several g-gc, 1 g-g-gc.  Burial: Feb 7, 2000 in teh Garvin Ridge
Cemetery, Olive Hill, Carter Co, KY.

Mary R. Stapleton Lawson, 82, of Newark, OH, formerly of Greenup Co, KY, born mar 24, 1917
in Elliott Co, KY, dau of the late Edward and Amanda Tackett Stapleton, died Feb 4, 2000 in
Newark.  Preceded: son, Edward Lawson.  Survived: sons, Fred Lawson and Anthony Lawson,
daus, Kay Cooper and Geneva Rees, brothers, Troy Stapleton, Russell Stapleton and Herman
Stapleton, sisters, Eva Broughton, Irene Boggs and Blanche Grant, 14 gc, 16 g-gc.  Burial: Feb 7,
2000 in the Mount Zion Cemetery, South Shore, Greenup Co, KY.
          
Roberta Carrie Vinson, 77, of Ironton, OH, born Feb 22, 1922 in Louisa, Lawrence Co, KY, dau
of the late Jaminson and Hattie Hager Vinson, died Feb 4, 2000 in Ashland, Boyd Co, KY.

John Walter Bays, 83, of Fayetteville, NC, formerly of Morehead, Rowan Co, KY, born Oct 19,
1916 at Portsmouth, OH, son of the late Robert L. and Willa Flannery Bays, died Feb 6, 2000 in
Eastover, NC.  Preceded: wife, Anna Lee Martin Bays in 1981.  Survived: dau, Susan G. Bays,
brother, Donald F. Bays, sister, Dolly F Hansen, 2 gc.  Burial: Feb 9, 2000 in the Lee Cemetery,
Rowan Co, KY.

Noranelle Cooksey, 90, of Ironton, OH, born March 24, 1909 in Carter Co, KY, dau of the late
Millard G. and Pearl Howell Cooksey, died Feb 5, 2000 in Huntington, WV.  Survived: 2
nephews.  Entombment: Feb 8, 2000 in the Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum, Ashland, Boyd
Co, KY.

Anthony Duane Ruth, 36, of Morehead, Rowan Co, KY, born Sept 16, 1963 in Morgan Co, KY,
son of Wilma Jean Lykins Ruth and the late James Marvin Ruth Jr., died Feb 5, 2000 in
Morehead.  Survived: wife, Stephanie Kidd Ruth, son, Anthony Ruth, brother, James Richard
