husband, Raphel “Bud” Flannery whom she married Dec 31, 1962 in Greenup, KY, brothers, 
Globele Collins and Arlen Collins, sisters, Mrs. Allen (Myrtle Faye) Webb, Mrs. Garland (Cory 
Kathleen) Fletcher, Rose Adkins and Mrs. George (Monnie) Dillon.  Preceded: brothers, Wes, 
Benny and John Harvey Collins, sisters, Abagail Flannery, Mandy Mae Keeton and Estie 
Keeton, step-sisters, Cory Wagner, Daisy Blevins and Monnie Kempton.  Burial: Jan 12, 1998 in 
thae Scioto Furnace Cemetery, OH.

Charles Edward Thompson, 70, of Webbville, KY, born Sept 30, 1927 in Leon, Carter Co, KY, 
son of the late Willie and Anna McCowell Thompson, died Jan 9, 1998 in Louisa, Lawrence Co, 
KY.  Survived: wife, Wanda Triplett Thompson, daus, Floneta Welch, Vivian Hill and Michelle 
Gollihue, son, Charles Edward Thompson, stepson, Dale Jobe, brothers, Robert Thompson and 
Everett Thompson, sisters, Louise Sawyer, Beulah Murphy, Janet Klein Knight, Ruth Bailey,

Elliott “Coke” Jones Jr., 74, of Louisa, Lawrence Co, KY, born Mar 15, 1998 in Louisa, son of 
the late Elliott “Coke” Sr. and Sarah Kate Allison Jones, died Jan 8, 1998 in Huntington, WV.  
Survived: brother, Curtis S. Jones and several nieces and nephews.  Burial: Jan 11, 1998 in the 
Greenlawn Cemetery, Louisa, KY.

Edith Marie Burnett, 75, of Flatwoods, KY, born Nov 11, 1922 in Grayson, Carter Co, KY, dau 
of the late Eugene and Kate Elliott Burnett, died Jan 7, 1998 in Flatwoods, KY.  Survived: sister, 
Catherine Bishop, several nieces and nephews.  Burial: Jan 9, 1998 in Grayson Memorial 
Gardens, Grayson, KY.

Elbert T. Williams, 80, better known as E.T. or Tommy, born July 9, 1917 in Morgan Co, KY, 
oldest son of Walker Williams and Della Cox Williams. Survived: wife, Gretta Ison Williams 
who he married in 1943, daus, Deloris Stinson and Kaye Gilliam, son, Bob Williams, grandsons, 
Philip and Eric Stinson, Kelly and Keith Gilliam and Lance Gilliam, granddaughters, Lana Price 
and Amy Williams, brothers, Kennie Williams, Charles K. Williams and Walker Williams Jr., 
sisters, Minnie Rowland, Dixie Cantrell andVersie Keeton.  Preceded: sisters, Nora Williams

Bertie Faye Peters Sousa, 57, of Newport, born Jan 15, 1940 in Elliott Co, KY, died Ced 29,

Sarah Adkins and Geneva Andrews, brothers, Herman Peters, Murl Peters, Eugene Peters,

Charlie Boone DeHart, 82, of Sharkey, Rowan Co, KY, born July 15, 1915 in Rowan Co, KY, 
son of the late Martin and Cora Jayne Kegley DeHart, died Jan 9, 1998 at his home.  Preceded: 
wife, Malissa Ann Baker DeHart.  Survived: sons, Gary R. DeHart and Anthony Dehart, dau,

Mary Reynolds Catron, 84, of Elliottville, KY, born May 27, 1913 in Carter Co, KY, dau of the 
late Charlie and Nancy Ellen Middleton Raynolds, died Jan 6, 1998 at her home.  Preceded: 
husband, French R. Catron in 1982, stepsons, Ora Catron and Estill Catron, step-daus, Cledith 
Copple and Myrtle Porter.  Survived: sons, Bill Catron, Charles “Jack” Catron and Bob Catron,

Wandine Wellman, 72, of Webbville, born Aug, 17 1925 in England, Ark., dau of the late victor

Gary Wayne Fraley, 40, of Morehead, Rowan Co, KY, born Dec 1, 1957 in Rowan Co, son of 
Stella Sloan Fraley and the late Wilburn Fraley, died Jan 8, 1998 at his home.  Survived: dau,
