Phillip Ray Duvall, son of William and Edna Farley Duvall, died in Omaha, Nebraska on 
Jan 13, 1998 at the age of 49 yrs, 10 mos, and 9 days.  Preceded:  father, William Duvall, 
father in law, Bob Williams, step father, William Wilder.  Survived:  wife, Roxane 
Duvall whom he married on May 24, 1980, children, Stacie, Randi and Taylor Duvall, 
mother, Edna Duvall Wilder, mother in law, Janet Williams, brothers in law, sisters in 
law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.  Burial:  Jan 16, 1998 in 
the Maple Grove Cemetery, Audubon, Iowa.  

Daisy Slusher Maggard, 71, of Winchester, KY, formerly of Morehead, Rowan Co, KY, 
born Jan 25, 1926 in Rowan Co, dau of the late Willie and Laura Kidd Slusher, died Jan 
13, 1998 in Winchester.  Survived:  husband, Thomas Jefferson Maggard, daus, Sandra 
Benton, Debbie Slone and Renee Carlson, brothers, Andy Slusher and Wayne Slusher, 
sisters, Sarah Griffin, Gracie Buchanan, Judy Blank, Ida Slone and Nola Kidd, 2 gc.  
Burial:  Jan 16, 1998 in the Crix Cemetery, Morehead, KY.

Boyd Earl Fannin, 60, of Morehead, Rowan Co, KY, born Jan 11, 1938 in Elliott Co, KY, 
son Thurman Fannin and the late Eva Howard Fannin, died Jan 23, 1998 at his home.

Frank Leroy Osenton, 77, of  Franklin Furnace, OH, formerly of Olive Hill, Carter Co, 
KY, born May 20, 1920 in Carter Co, son of the late Henry and Norma Jordan Osenton, 
died Jan 24, 1998 in Ashland, Boyd Co, KY.  Preceded:  1st wife, June Rodgers Osenton, 
2nd wife, Lois Kitchen Osenton.  Survived:  wife, Blanche McCoy Osenton, daus, Lillian 
Leadingham, Frances Miracle and Ann Cross, step dau, Sharon Rawlins, sisters, Betty Jo

Walter A. Jessie, 85, of Grayson, Carter Co, KY, born Oct 2, 1912 in Hitchens, Carter 
Co, KY, son of the late Robert Lee and Bunnie Akers Jessie, died Jan 24, 1998 in 
Russell, KY.  Survived:  wife, Rilda Jessie, sister, Racine Ison, brothers, James A. Jessie, 
George Jessie and J. D. Jessie.  Burial:  Jan 26, 1998 in the Fairview Cemetery, Hitchens, 
KY.  

Linnie Lou Thornberry Fannin, wife of the late Rufus A. Fannin Jr., dau of the late Luke 
and May Ison Thornberry, mother of Wildadean Witsken, Kenneth A., R. Lynn and 
Glenn E. Fannin, grandmother of John, Teressa, Christy, Heather, Vanessa, Melilssa, 
Alexander and Erin, great-grandmother of Thomas and Nicholas, sister of Sadie Green 
and Mary Alice Sandusky, died Dec 31, 1997 at her home in Milford, OH.   Funeral

David Allen Wells, 47, of Richmond, formerly of Olive Hill, Carter Co, KY, born Nov 
14, 1950 in Carter Co, KY, son of Ernest and Cleo Krohn Wells, died Jan 20, 1998 in 
Richmond.  Survived:  wife, Charlene Burton Wells, sons, Ernest Allen Wells and

Georgia Thompson, 85, of Johnstown, OH, formerly of Lawrence Co, KY, born Aug 30, 
1912 in Lawrence Co, KY, dau of the late Thomas and Emma McCommis Moore, died
