Ina B. Adkins, 89, of Grayson, Carter Co, KY, born Mar 16, 1904 in Elliott Co, KY, dau 
of the late James and Ollie Jarrell Fannin, died Sept 25, 1993 at her home.  Preceded:  
husband, Sanford Adkins in 1977.  Survived:  son, Dale Adkins, sisters, Ginnie Adkins, 
Bertha Sturgill, Geneva Carter, Dixie Howard and Daisy Harmon, 3 gc, 9 g-gc.  Burial:  
Sept 29, 1993 in the East Carter County Memory Gardens, Grayson, KY.

Wanda Lee Horton, 50, of Bruin, Elliott Co, KY, born May 20, 1942 in Elliott Co, dau of 
Eva Skaggs Horton and the late Charles Everett “Pete” Horton, died Sept 23, 1993 in 
Ashland, Boyd Co, KY.  Preceded:  brother, Estill Horton, sister, Laura A. Dickerson.  
Survived:  dau, Leigh Anna Hunt, brother, Charles “Chuck” Horton, sisters, Londean 
Lewis and Gracie Green, 2 gc.  Burial:  Sept 25, 1993 in the Elliott County Memory 
Gardens, Sandy Hook, Elliott Co, KY.

Edwin Quentin Fannin, 72, of Isonville, Elliott Co, KY, born Jan 24, 1921 in Elliott Co, 
KY, son of the late Roy and Lona Kazee Fannin, died Sept 28, 1993 in West Liberty, 
Morgan Co, KY.  Survived:  wife, Alice Fannin, daus, Donna Lewis, Connie Fannin and 
Renne Fyffe, brother, Rex Fannin, sister, Stella Davis, 5 gc, 4 g-gc.  Burial:  Sept 30, 
1993 in the Fannin Family Cemetery, Isonville, KY.

Bryd Gray, 90, of 5040 Ky. 173, Morehead, Rowan Co, KY, born Apr 15, 1903 in Elliott 
Co, KY, son of the late Nealie and Mallie Howard Gray, died Sept 25, 1993 in Morehead.  
Survived:  wife, Bertha Horton Gray, sons, Morris Gray, Larry Gray and Zane Gray, dau, 
Joyce Vansant, 6 gc, 3 g-gc.  Burial:  Sept 27, 1993 in the Elliott County Memory 
Gardens, Sandy Hook, Elliott Co, KY.

Martin O. Boggs, 71, of Waynesville, OH, born May 24, 1922 at Newcombe, Elliott Co, 
KY, son of the late Albert and Mary Skaggs Boggs, died Sept 17, 1993 in Dayton, OH.  
Survived: his wife of 53 years, Edna B. Mayse Boggs, sons, C. Eugene Boggs, Bobby 
Wayne Boggs and Roger Dale Boggs, daus, Mary Ethyl Kramer and Garnetta F. Smith, 3 
granddaughters, 14 grandsons, 13 g-gc, brother, Herbert Boggs, sisters, Emily Henson 
and Myrtle Eldridge, host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.  Burial:  Sept 20, 1993 
in the Miami Cemetery, Corwin, OH.

Minnie Stafford, 81, of Newfoundland, Elliott Co, KY, born Mar 8, 1912 in Elliott Co, 
dau of the late Jim and Ida Blevins Stafford, died Sept 25, 1993 in Morehead, Rowan Co, 
KY.  Preceded:  husband, Cecil Burton.  Survived:  son, Lawrence Burton, dau, Audrey 
Stafford, sister, Clara Simmons, 1 gc.  Burial:  Sept 27, 1993 in the Stafford Family 
Cemetery.  

Mary A. Williams, 83, of Olive Hill, Carter Co, KY, born Aug 5, 1910 in Ellliott Co, KY, 
dau of the late John L. and Hila Belle Patrick Clay, died Sept 23, 1993 in Ashland, Boyd 
Co, KY.  Preceded: husband, Arthur Williams.  Survived:  sons, Morris G. Williams, 
Donald Ray Williams, Verlin Edward Williams and Franklin D. Williams, brother, 
Ruben Clay, sister, Della Conn, 22 gc, 33 g-gc, 2 g-g-gc.  Burial:  Sept 27, 1993 in the 
Garvin Ridge Cemetery, Olive Hill, Carter Co, KY.

Dovie Saylers, 88, of Ashland, Boyd Co, KY, born May 12, 1905 in Elliott Co, KY, dau 
of the late William Joseph and Rebecca Griffith Deboard, died Sept 25, 1993 in the J.J. 
Jordan Geriatric Center.  Preceded: husband, Fred W. Salyers in 1978.  Survived:  sons, 
Gary Salyers, William Salyers, Henry Salyers and James Salyers, sister, Effie Burton, 21 
gc, 25 g-gc, 3 g-g-gc.  Burial:  Sept 27, 1993 at the Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens.
