23, 1933 in Morgan Co, KY, son of Hazel Caskey Eldridge and the late Ray Eldridge, Sr., died Aug 
28, 1993 in Harrison Co.  Preceded, son, Vendell Eldridge.  Survived: wife, Glenna Balnkenship 
Eldridge, sons, Wendell Eldridge, Jimmy Eldridge, Timmy Eldridge and Billy Eldridge, daus, Connie 
Stewart and Rita Eldridge Profitt, 7 gc, sisters, Letha Nell Wilson, Imajean King, Wanda Potter 
and Betty Adkins.  Burial: Aug 31, 1993 in the Caskey Cemetery, Hwy. 7, West Liberty, KY.

Lester P. Cassity, 83, of Catlettsburg, Boyd Co, KY, born May 13, 1910 in Elliott Co, KY, son of 
the late Thomas J. and Elizabeth Blair Cassity, died Aug 28, 1993 at his home.  Survived: 
sisters, Lillian VanMeter and Myrte Adkins, brothers, James C. Cassity, Edward Cassity and Victor 
Cassity.  Burial: in the Rose Hill Burial Park, Ashland, Boyd Co, KY.  No burial date.

Donna Lou Prewitt, 34, of Sandy Hook, Elliott Co, KY, born Mar 6, 1959 in West Libery, Morgan Co, 
KY, dau of Ethel Hutchinson Moore and the late Elmer Moore, died Aug 27, 1993 at her home.  
Survived: husband, Mickeal (sic) Prewitt, brothers, Ralph Moore, Randy Moore, Larry Moore and 
Jeff Moore, sisters, Wilma Littleton and Margie Ann Barker, grandparents, Clesta Moore and 
William E. Esta Hutchinson.  Burial: Aug 29, 1993 in the Elliott County Memory Gardens, Sandy 
Hook, KY.  Active pallbearers: Terry Littleton, Bradley Prewitt, Douglas Auxier, Jamie Stephens, 
Stanley Moore and Rich Elliott.  Honorary pallbearers: Danny Hutchinson, Larry Hutchinson,

Dewey Vincent Smith, 42, of Sandy Hook, Elliott Co, KY, born Nov 24, 1950 in Elliott Co, son of 
Julie Whitt Smith and the late Cecil Smith, died Aug 18, 1993 in Ashland, Boyd Co, KY.  Survived: 
Pamela Evans Smith, sons, Dewey Patrick Smith and Derrick James Smith, daus, Dewelya Dawn Smith 
and Jessica Faye Nicolea Smith, brothers, James Griffith, George Smith, Carl Smith, Joe Plaze 
Smith, Mitchell Smith and Ray Smith, sisters, Mag Hines, Marie Stevens, Rose Walker and Loma 
Griffith.  Burial: Aug 20, 1993 in the Elliott County Memory Gardens, Sandy Hook, KY.

Eula Faye Rayburn, 71, of Louisville, Jefferson Co, KY, born in Elliott Co, KY (no date given) 
dau of Goldie Gibson and the late Bob Gibson, died Aug 21, 1993 at Saints Mary and Elizabeth 
Hospital.  Survived: sons, Rodger D. Rayburn, Norman Rayburn, Robert Rayburn, William Rayburn and 
John D. Rayburn, daus, Guinalda Myers, Jeanie Lyons and Mary E. Rayburn, sisters, Beulah Boggs 
and Wanda Bloomer, brothers, L. B. Gibson and Herman Gobel Gibson, 16 gc, 13 g-gc.  Burial: Aug 
24, 1993 in the Resthaven Memorial Park.
