Cantrell marks his 99th birthday

	William Bryan Cantrell, son of Ben and Elizabeth Cantrell, was born Sept 5, 1900 
in Sand Lick, KY.  He met Elizabeth (Sissie) Young in 1927 and they married soon after.  
Sissie was the daughter of John and Margaret Young. She passed away in June 1995 after 
67 years of marriage to Bryan.  
	The couple have 3 children, Ray, who married Golda Cantrell, Roy, (deceased), 
who married Edna Helton and Reva, who married Darrell (Clifford) Lyons.  He has many 
grandchildren (3 deceased), great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.  He was 
employed with the United States postal Service as a mail carrier for 37 years, he also 
farmed for many years.  He carried the mail by horseback.  Bryan lived his whole life on 
Sand Lick until his wife’s passing in 1995.
