Ernest Barker, 81, of 3017 Bath Ave, Ashland, Boyd Co, KY, born June 9, 
1915 in Elliott Co, KY, son of the late Nelson and Emma Laney Barker, 
died today (the paper was published May 17, 1997) in Ashland, KY.  
Preceded: wife, Bessie Laney Barker in 1986.  Survived: daus, Nancy 
Alice Walker, Beulah Lane and Clydah Jean Miller, 4 gc, 2 g-gc.  
Burial: "Monday" in the Ashland Cemetery.
