Church Minutes
Sister Jaley Buckner was born August 24th 1894 in Elliott County Ky, and 
departed this life Sept. 25th 1979 in Morehead, Ky. She was 85 years, one 
month and one day of age.

Jaley was married to Simeon Buckner in 1910 and this union was blessed with 11 
children, four of which proceeded her in death, also her husband Simeon 
proceeded her in death. 

She leaves to mourn her passing six daughters, one son fifty five 
grandchildren, one great grandchild, and a host of friends.

Jaley was converted into the Newcomb Valley Church thirty-six years ago, and 
she told her children she was going home. Our loss is Heaven's gain.
