Troy Horton, 79, of Sandy Hook, Elliott Co, KY, born June 5, 1896 in Floyd Co, KY, son of the 
late Charlie Ester Horton (no mother listed), died may 7, 1976 in Shelbyville, KY.  Preceded: 
wife, Dollie Chaffins Horton in 1971.  Survived: sons, Dempsey Horton, Rondall Horton, Dave 
Horton, Henry Horton, Sam Horton and Donald Horton, daus, Mrs. Joe Banks, 
Mrs. Thelma Harris, Mr.s Barbara Kazee, Mrs. Jeanett Banks, Mrs. Gypsie Dadito and Mrs. Louise 
Blanton, 35 gc, several g-gc.  Burial: May 9, 1976 in the Elliott County Memory Gardens, Sandy 
Hook, Elliott County, KY.
