April 14 1881 she was married to S.J Mason also a resident of Elliott Co. who preceded her in death one son Cornelius, four daughters, Mary Gilliam, Jane, Annie, and Ida Mason. She was patient in all her suffering and never complained. She always wanted to make it easier for those caring for her. With her passing the children have lost a wonderful and loving mother but their loss is heaven’s gain.
